Madrid is characterized by intense cultural and artistic activity, good food and a very lively nightlife! The organisers have therefore done their utmost to allow you to discover these aspects of the capital of Spain! Don’t miss these opportunities to experience Spain’s culture at its best. As tradition has it, there will be three events in Madrid: two for Forum attendees, their spouses and exhibitors and one for members only.
Thyssen MuseumOpen only to WLPGA, AEGPL and AIGLP Members and their spouses.
The Palace was built between the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century and is a fine example of Madrid’s neo-classic architecture. The works of art at the “Villahermosa” Palace have been collected by the Thyssen Bornemisza Family over two generations. The largest and most important part of the Thyssen Bornemisza collection was acquired by Spain in July 1993.
Guests will have the possibility to visit part of the museum and share a dinner in one of the most emblematic venues in Madrid.
In the Forum Exhibition at the Palacio de Congresos - Wednesday, 29th September 2010The Reception will take place in the Exhibition Area to bring the event’s participants and exhibitors together. Meet your colleagues, suppliers and clients for typical Spanish drinks and tapas while strolling by the many stands in the exhibition and discovering what the LP Gas business has to offer. And who knows, maybe you’ll come across some local entertainers in the crowd!
Quinta del JaramaThe Quinta del Jarama is a unique construction not just because of its well-studied comfort, masterly design, the work of Pascua Ortega, but also for its spectacular gardens. Ideal to hold singular events, it has a privileged location about 30 minutes from Madrid centre. Forum attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a convivial meal with colleagues and friends and be delighted with typical Spanish dances in a modern and surprising place!
