There will be simultaneous interpretation for the Conferences in 6 languages: English, French, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish (subject to change). The documents edited for the Conferences will be in English.

Kindly be advised that the official Forum Opening Ceremony
on Thursday morning 30th september (9:30am-10:30am) requires special arrangements.
For organization and security reasons, registration and access to the Palacio de Congresos will be exceptionally closed from 9:00am to 9:45am and from 10:30am to 11:30am.
Registration and access will be open from 9:45am to 10:30am and after 11:30am until 6:00pm.

IMPORTANT: New VAT rates in Spain

As per 1st July 2010, new VAT RATES are applicable in SPAIN:
18% INSTEAD OF 16%
8% INSTEAD OF 7%


This increase in VAT rate is applicable to registration fees, exhibition/sponsorship fees, hotel rates, tours rates, airport transfers.

BADGES

A name badge is provided with your registration documents upon arrival at the Forum Welcome Desk. The wearing of this badge is compulsory both inside the conference rooms and sessions and at all events organised within the context of the Forum.

 

LUNCH AND COFFEE BREAKS

Lunches will be served in the conference dining area and coffee breaks will be served within the exhibition halls.

 

TRANSPORTATION

The Organisers will provide participants with transportation from the official hotels to the Forum social events and back.

 

DRESS CODE

The dress code for the various evening events is business attire.

 

VISAS

All participants, exhibitors and visitors are reminded that a visa may be required for foreign citizens entering Spain and that they should apply for a visa at their local Spanish consulate or embassy.

Should you need an official invitation letter for visa application purposes, you may contact the Organising Secretariat who will be able to assist you with this.

No exhibition, registration fee and accommodation deposit refunds will be issued for cancellation or non-attendance due to failure to obtain a visa.
